Mainz 05 to play friendly against Crystal Palace

Fixture set to be contested during summer training camp near Salzburg

As part of their training camp to be undertaken in cooperation with MEWA and tourism association Hohe Salve, 1. FSV Mainz 05 will play a friendly match against Premier League club Crystal Palace. The fixture with the reigning FA Cup champions, for whom former Mainz striker Jean-Philippe Mateta has developed into a key player, is set to kick off at 14:00 CEST on 29th July at the Hans-Ludwig-Stadion near Salzburg, the home ground of SV Wals-Grünau. The match will be contested over two 60-minute halves.
