Dominik Kohr suffers MCL injury

31-year-old defender will miss the remainder of the season

Kohr had to be substituted off as early as 10 minutes into Sunday evening’s fixture.

Dominik Kohr suffered an MCL injury in his left knee against Eintracht Frankfurt on Sunday, as diagnosed by examination performed on Monday.

His rehabilitation will be overseen with caution. The defender will miss the remainder of the season but the hope is for the 31-year-old to return to team training at the start of pre-season in early July, dependent on his healing process.
