Mainz will be forced to go without goalkeeper Robin Zentner for the next two Bundesliga games, in which they’ll travel to Hamburg to face HSV on Sunday (17:30), before returning to the MEWA ARENA to play Bayer 04 Leverkusen (18th October). FSV’s number one was sent off in the second half of the game against BVB for denying Karim Adeyemi a clear goalscoring opportunity.
FSV have accepted the ruling of the DFB, meaning the two-match ban is now official.
