Six 05ers heading to the World Cup
Six 1. FSV Mainz 05 players will be at the tournament in the USA, Canada and Mexico
The football world will turn its attention to the USA, Canada and Mexico from 11th June, with 48 nations competing for the World Cup trophy before the final on 19th July. Mainz 05 will be well represented, with six players involved at the tournament.
Kacper Potulski has earned his first call-up to the senior Poland squad. Poland have not qualified for the World Cup, but will play two friendlies in the coming days, facing Ukraine in Wrocław on 31st May and Nigeria in Warsaw on 3rd June.
