Tom Krauß joins Köln
One-year loan with option to buy at newly promoted side
Tom Krauß will represent 1. FC Köln next season. The 24-year-old has signed a loan deal with the newly promoted Bundesliga outfit until the end of the 2025/26 campaign that includes an option to buy. Krauß was also on loan last season, first at English Championship club Luton Town (23 games, two goals, four assists) and for VfL Bochum during (14 games) during the second half of the season.
“Tom came to us asking for a move to Köln. After the two loans last season, it was important for him to find somewhere that he could call home and settle down – the loan deal with an option to buy has provided good conditions in this regard. We wish Tom all the best for his future at FC,” said 05’s sporting director Niko Bungert.
