International tests await at training camp

As part of their ten-day training camp from 27 July to 5 August at the Hohe Salve Sportresort in Hopfgarten-Markt in Brixental, 1. FSV Mainz 05 will face two international opponents. On Friday, 31 July at 16:00, Mainz will take on Shabab Al Ahli from Dubai at the Grenzlandstadion Arena Kufstein (Untere Feldgasse 4, 6330 Kufstein). Exactly 24 hours later, FSV will face Italian top-flight side Udinese Calcio at the Mittersill football ground (Sportplatzstraße 1a, 5730 Mittesill).

Both matches will be played over 90 minutes and will also be shown live on 05ER.tv.

First World Cup returnees rejoin the squad

The three World Cup participants Nadiem Amiri, Jae-sung Lee and Kaishu Sano will complete their first on-pitch training session on 28 July and are set to be gradually reintegrated into team training in Austria. Phillipp Mwene will check in at the team hotel on 30 July. Silvan Widmer, who reached the World Cup quarter-finals with Switzerland, will return to Bruchweg on 6 August after the conclusion of the training camp.
