A special highlight awaits Mainz 05 fans in the region on Saturday, 4 July. Mainz 05’s first friendly of pre-season, which got underway on Wednesday, will take place at the Uwe-Becker-Stadion against club partner and Landesliga side TSG Pfeddersheim. The first-team players will wear the new JAKO home shirt for the first time, with a limited number of the new shirts also available to buy on site from the Mainz 05 Fanmobil. In addition to the friendly, visitors can look forward to a varied supporting programme. After the match, the players will be available for photos and autographs.
Matchday information
- Kick-off is at 4 pm, admission from 2 pm.
- Anyone who does not yet have a ticket can buy one online or at the ticket office on matchday, which opens at 13:30. Tickets cost €5, with concessions available for €3. Children sitting on an adult’s lap and wheelchair users do not pay admission, but still require their own ticket for entry. Seating is unreserved.
- Temperatures of up to 30 degrees are expected on Saturday. Please remember to bring sun cream, a hat or cap and enough to drink. One PET bottle of up to 0.5 litres is permitted per person. Shaded areas will be available in the spectator stands.
- Travelling by public transport is recommended. The ground is a 20-minute walk from Pfeddersheim station.
- Alternatively, parking is available at KHS GmbH (Enzinger Straße 139, around a 20-minute walk to the stadium) or at Paternus Grundschule (Grabenstraße 50, around a 10-minute walk). There is no parking available at the field itself.
