Bundesliga confirms first four matchdays

The Bundesliga confirmed the exact dates and times for the first four matchdays of the 2026/27 season on Wednesday morning. Mainz 05 will begin their campaign at the traditional kick-off time of 15:30 with a home game against SC Paderborn on Saturday, 29 August. FSV’s matchdays three and four will also be played on Saturday afternoons, while the Red-Whites’ away game at Hamburger SV will take place on Sunday at the same kick-off time.
