2025/26 home shirt: Mainz on your chest and in your heart

Mainz 05 fans will be able to carry their city not only in their hearts, but also proudly on their chests during the upcoming 2025/26 Bundesliga season. FSV’s brand-new JAKO home shirt features a detailed map of the city, applied using embossing technology.

The new design is a tribute to the golden city on the Rhine. At first glance, the shirt appears to have an asymmetric, raised red-on-red pattern, but look closer and you’ll recognise it as the street map of Mainz. True locals will be able to trace the streets and may even spot their own neighbourhood featured on the new JAKO home shirt.

The main body of the shirt features this subtle city map pattern in the club’s classic shade of red. The sleeves showcase a familiar red and white pattern, made up of subtle Mainz 05 logos. Gold details on the shoulders, around the club crest and the JAKO logo complete the look, all under the motto of “Unser goldisch Meenz” (Our golden Mainz). The arm of the shirt features the logo of FSV’s official sleeve sponsor IDM. Naturally, the woven double-wheel emblem of Mainz appears on the back of the collar once again this year.

The shirt isn’t just a win for fans, but for the environment too: the new Mainz 05 home shirt is sustainably produced by JAKO, with polyester made entirely from 100% recycled materials. The high-quality, soft fabric is comfortable and moisture-wicking, in addition to offering optimum breathability, thanks to mesh inserts on the front and back. The shirt is available in three styles: the classic straight-fit cut, a more tailored women’s version and a children’s version.
