05ers unveil new 2025/26 carnival kit
Colourful and vibrant with a rather distinctive muse

1. FSV Mainz 05 have presented their new Karneval kit for the 2025/26 season, continuing with the colourful and vibrant style from previous years. The kit, designed in collaboration with supplier JAKO, is once again inspired by one of the stars of the Mainz Karneval, Schwellkopp character “Lisbetche”. For almost 100 years, the larger-than-life characters with their papier-mâché heads have been an integral part of the Rosenmontag parade through the city.
Last year’s kit focused on Schwellkopp Karlchen, whereas this year’s shirt is inspired by his Schwellkopp wife, Lisbetche. She wears a pink feather boa over her blouse, which features a black and pastel checkerboard pattern. That distinctive pattern served as the inspiration for this year’s kit, which, as usual, includes the jester’s cap, a colourfully designed inner collar and cuffs and a bespoke font on the player names and numbers.
Limited stock
The shirt comes in an exclusive white collector’s edition box, which will fit perfectly next to last year’s red one. The box once again includes a matching pin and portrait of Lisbetche herself. This special kit is once again limited edition, with 1,905 shirts available for purchase. Each shirt has its own individual number printed on the neck area.
The kit is now exclusively available for members and can only be purchased in the online shop, with purchases limited to two per member. The shirt costs €94.95 for adults and is available in sizes S to 5XL, as well as in a tapered women’s cut in sizes 34 to 44. Children’s kits are available in sizes 116 to 164 and cost €74.95. Club members can enjoy their usual 10% discount. For the first time, there is also a warm-up t-shirt and warm-up jacket available in the Karneval design.
