Marco Richter moves on loan to SV Darmstadt 98
27-year-old to spend the coming season with the second-division side
Marco Richter will play for 2. Bundesliga side SV Darmstadt 98 on loan this season. The 27-year-old has been at 1. FSV Mainz 05 since 2023 and spent last season at Hamburger SV, winning promotion with them as he made 28 competitive appearances.
Sporting director Niko Bungert said: “We believe that Marco will take this opportunity in Darmstadt and have a successful season with lots of game time. We wish him all the best with that.”
