Mainz to play friendly against club partner TSG Pfeddersheim

First pre-season fixture for 2026/27 season confirmed

Chairman of the Lotto Rheinland-Pfalz foundation Magnus Schneider, club ambassador Dimo Wache and stadium announcer Andi Bockius draw the winning club

The opponents and date have been confirmed for the 1. FSV Mainz 05’s first pre-season friendly ahead of the 2026/27 campaign: the 05ers will take on club partner TSG Pfeddersheim on 4th July at 16:00 CEST at the Uwe-Becker-Stadion in Worms-Pfeddersheim.

The club partner project allows participating clubs from the region to benefit from Mainz’s know-how and provides lots of other benefits, including the chance to play a pre-season friendly against the 05ers’ first team. The draw was made at half time during the Bundesliga meeting with SC Freiburg in April by club ambassador Dimo Wache, with TSG Pfeddersheim the lucky name chosen from FSV’s 250 partner clubs.
