Paying homage to the ‘90s
JAKO and Mainz 05 present new third shirt
1. FSV Mainz 05 and JAKO have unveiled the club’s third shirt for the 2025/26 season. The shirt pays homage to the club’s 1991/92 kit, but in a different colour scheme, with an off-white paired with bright pops of magenta.
The main colour of the shirt is a light grey, with a v-neck soft-stretch collar in a shade of coal. The cuffs and various retro design elements are also in the same shade, while magenta stripes along the collarbone serve for contrast. The FSV badge, as well as the logos of kit supplier JAKO, main and shirt sponsor Kömmerling and sleeve sponsor IDM, have been recoloured to match the coal-coloured accents. The neck of the shirt also features the coat of arms of the city of Mainz.
Functional and sustainable
As is the case for all of JAKO’s kits, the 05ers third shirt combines functionality with sustainability. The shirt is made of 100% recycled polyester, which is both breathable and moisture-wicking.
The shirt is available for purchase in the club’s online shop in a classic cut (S to 5XL, €84.95), women’s cut (34 to 44, €84.95) and children’s sizes (116 to 164, €64.95). Club members will receive a 10% discount on the purchase of the new third shirt.
