Following their 11-0 win against TSG Pfeddersheim in the club partner friendly, Mainz 05’s first-team players are set for their second pre-season fixture. On Saturday afternoon, Mainz will face Oberliga side Sportfreunde Eisbachtal. “Eisbachtal may well challenge us a little more than last week. We need to show the same bite and intensity as we did in Pfeddersheim,” head coach Urs Fischer said ahead of the game. Kick-off at the Eisbachtalstadion in Nentershausen is at 16:00.

Travel information

Due to roadworks on the main road in Nentershausen, supporters are advised not to take the Nentershausen exit on the A3. Instead, the hosts recommend leaving the motorway towards Diez and travelling via Eppenrod to reach the village. Public parking is available on site on a first-come, first-served basis, so arriving early is recommended.
