Stefan Posch: “It was the perfect start. And even though I wasn’t involved, I know we still had something to make up for from last year. It was a very mature performance; we picked up where we left off in the second half of last season. We allowed very little and created a lot of chances. It was the kind of away win you hope for. We were clinical, played a lot of vertical football and didn’t look too much to the left or right.”
Sheraldo Becker: “It’s a very good feeling today after a win in a great stadium. If we are this well prepared every week and perform like this, we can win a lot of games.”
Phillip Tietz: “I have to say that we were outstanding defensively as well. We only allowed one shot on goal. Going forward, we rewarded ourselves and made a statement with a lot of goals, which we deserved. Today, we did almost everything right. Now we’ll celebrate a little tonight and start preparing for Frankfurt from Wednesday.”
