Sandro Schwarz: "played completely into Leipzig's hands"
Both managers spoke after FSV's match in Leipzig.
Sandro Schwarz: “I don’t want to go too deep into the analysis. We simply lost the ball too many times today, and that played completely into Leipzig’s hands. Both of the first goals came after we turned the ball over to them. RB dictated the game. We showed no resilience and couldn’t get hold of the ball. If you do that you suffer a shower of goals, like we did today. Congrats to Julian and his boys.
Julian Nagelsmann: “We had some problems getting into the game and were too open at the back. There were two or three times that we could have been in trouble. Then we took the lead with our first chance, something that has been missing in recent weeks. Afterwards, there were a couple of occasions when they could have made it 1-1. We got on a roll and created a lot of turnovers. We played with tempo and created lots of space. I enjoyed the first ten minutes after the break, because we were able to pick up where we left off in the first half. I am very happy.”
