Mainz 05 presents new sleeve sponsor
QQ288 îs the new "official international online betting partner" of Mainz 05.
1. FSV Mainz 05 is proud to present a new sleeve sponsor. Beginning at the home game against Eintracht Frankfurt (Wednesday, 18th December), the logo of the Asian online betting site QQ288 will adorn the sleeves of the Bundesliga team for the remainder of the season and throughout the 2019/20 campaign. The deal was worked out by Mainz 05, their marketing partners Infront, and Philippine based media agency Zapport Services, who run QQ288 and other online betting sites.
QQ288 are the new partners of Mainz 05 for international online betting. The rights package also includes an engagement in all Asian activities of the "05er Fußballschule", a community project run by the club that teaches football to young children all over Germany and the world.
The target market of QQ288 is Asia, particularly Indonesia, Thailand, Malaysia, China, and Vietnam. The online betting services of QQ288 are not accessible from Germany. Introducing QQ288 as a sleeve partner marks the first international sponsorship of Mainz 05 for areas exclusively outside of Germany.
"We are elated to have taken another step forward in our international marketing activities with this sponsorship, which we were able to arrange with the help our partners Infront, who are well connected in the business world both domestically and internationally. The presentation of QQ288 on our jersey’s sleeve shows that Mainz 05, and of course the Bundesliga, are attractive partners for international businesses, especially in Asia," says Jan Lehmann, member of the club’s board.
Marco Sautner, managing director of Infront Germany, adds: "QQ288 are the first partners of Mainz 05 that will use the prominence and reputation of the Bundesliga to capitalise exclusively on the international market. By becoming the sleeve sponsor of Mainz 05, the online betting site will gain immensely emotional rights with a high visibility. We are absolutely delighted about this new partnership, as it marks an important step for the international marketing efforts of the club.”
