Finn Dahmen signs a long-term contract
Youth product to stay in Mainz until 2023
1. FSV Mainz 05 have agreed a new long-term contract with Finn Dahmen, running until 2023. The 21-year-old goalkeeper, who has played for all of Germany’s youth sides from U15s to U20s, has been at the club since he was eleven and is a true Zerofiver.
“We are delighted that we have agreed a long-term deal with Finn Dahmen. He has already been at the club for over ten years and has really developed here. We are also aware that he will carry on developing, which is clear from his performances in training and in games for the U23s. We’re certain that he will carry on his career here,” said sporting director Rouven Schröder.
“I’m really pleased, as a long-term contract will bring me a lot of confidence. I’ve been playing here since U11s and have a real connection to this club. Now I want to pay back their support,” said Finn Dahmen.
